I hate to "whimmy" you Timmy but you say Bernardo is known for being controversial and you are known for being nice then promptly says the Adam West Batman is the best Batman. What!? That's crazy controversial. I love the Adam West Batman. Love it. Cesar Romero as the Joker is amazing. But Timmy c'mon. You want Batman to be fun and like a comic but you can't admit Batman (1989) is fun and silly like a comic. C'mon! GIFSoup

Did I say it was the best OR the one I prefer watching the most. If I remember correctly. I said "Dark Knight is the best made movie, but Adam West is the one I enjoy most because I have the most fun watching."

Also, I have never been the biggest Tim Burton Batman fan. I think it's because I didn't see those movies until I was much older, like Freshman in College. I don't share the same memories that many of peers do on them. I don't argue their quality or the fact that they are beloved. Just something I dig.

I think the funniest thing is that Timmy thinks I'm "known" for something

I can understand not having a great appreciation for the movie since you have no childhood memories of it. You can have you're opinion but everyone will think you're crazy for having it.
I remember you saying you didn't care much for Burton when we were talking about Big Fish, which I still love.
Do you have a favorite Tim Burton, Tim? AND you can't say Frankenweiner.

Oh definitely!
Pee Wee Herman's Big Adventure is hands down my favorite Tim Burton film! One of my favorite comedies! Very influential in the shaping of my sense of humor. Love Beetlejuice, Ed Wood, I even really enjoy Big Fish (I'd say that's his last good film) I don't love but I appreciate and respect. Scissorhands, Sleepy Hollow and Nightmare Before Christmas (I know he didn't direct that but his influence on it runs deep) I also think Mars Attacks is fun and underrated. Funderrated even.
Basically it comes down to not being allowed to see those Batman movies when I was a kid and then watching them when I was much older. I'll never knock anyone who loves them. And I fully embrace the insults people may fling when I say the my preferred Batman films are in this order. Adam West > Batman The Animated Series > The Dark Knight > Batman Begins > Batman > Batman Returns > Batman Forever and then *shudder* Batman and Robin.

Batman Forever get's worse and worse on each viewing. Tommy Lee Jones is brutal in it.

I honestly haven't seen Batman Forever in a long time. I'm sure if I watched it again now it would drop drastically.
